Hand in hand, backs to the camera, walking into the dark together — the closing image of their portrait story. I end most weddings with a frame in this spirit, because a gallery deserves a final page: two people, married, heading onward. For this pair the symbolism ran deeper than most. Their story with me started on a mountainside elopement in Glen Nevis and ended here, on a winter night in Glasgow, with both families finally part of it. Photographing both chapters is the kind of privilege this job occasionally hands you. This frame closes the book.
